My work focuses on how developing embryos need to remodel their own internal architecture on a molecular scale.
Filament Recycling
Watching individual filaments shows them appearing and disappearing as they are being broken down internally by the cell.
Cell Shape Change
This cell is only able to divide in the presence of filament recycling.
Contractility Simulations
I built a mechanical simulation that incorporates the biochemistry of filament recycling.
