The future of bio-engineering will depend on the ability to accurately predict unknown functions of biological systems. Toward better understanding complex biological modeling I'm starting ModelEphant to give an overview of fundamental concepts in basic modeling techniques.
I'm working on an introductory course on biological modeling with ordinary differential equations. When it's finished I'll post a link here to my Online Biological Modeling Workshop .
For those with a basic understanding of biological modeling and differential equations, I add more advanced lessons in biological modeling. ModelEphant is designed as a living tutorial, constantly expanding with new examples and techniques as I write them. I'm hoping to have guest posters add more content as time goes on to increase the breadth of the material beyond my own expertise.
